Pet Photos with Santa coming up this Saturday, November 22nd from 10:30am till 3:30pm at the Mississippi Animal Rescue League Shelter.  The shelter is located at 5221 Greenway Drive Ext. in Jackson. All pets and people are welcome.  $15 gets you 6 color prints of your pet/child with Santa.  We have a professional photographer and the real St. Nick coming.  It's a moment to treasure with your pet. Musicians from across the State come together to support  16 Year Old Kristal Gower who is currently battling Cancer; Thursday, November 20th , 7:00 p.m. at Hal & Mal’s,  200 South Congress Street in Jackson. All proceeds will go into an account setup at Trustmark Bank to help with medical expences.

Kristal has been at Blair E. Batson’s Children’s Hospital going through chemotherapy. She will have to go through chemotherapy for 1 to 2 years. Her mother is a single mother who is trying to continue to work.

Baptist Offers Free Cancer Rehab Classes

Baptist's Cancer Rehab Program is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. every week at no cost in the Activity Room of the Hederman Cancer Center, 1227 North State Street, Jackson, Miss. It helps to increase overall strength and stamina, decrease fatigue, weight loss and improve digestion.
